SINOMACH enters the World's Fortune 500 List

    July the 7th, 2011, Beijing time, fortune magazine published the latest rank of fortune 500 for 2011. Wal-mart tops the fortune 500 list for the second year in a row with a total annual revenue of 421.849 billion USD. This year, Chinese companies also have an excellent performance, none of these Chinese listed companies as fortune 500 last year has been knocked out.

    61 companies from Mainland China (not including Taiwan) enter fortune 500 group, 15 more than last year, which makes China rise for the 8 year in succession in terms of  number of listed companies. With companies from Taiwan included, the whole number of listed companies from china may reach 69, which has exceeded Japan and ranks second after United State(133). China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH) enters the fortune 500 group for the first time, ranking 434. 

    Fortune 500 published by Fortune magazine is the most high-profile and authoritative annual ranking list of corporation around the world.The lowest revenue limit of Fortune 500 this year has been raised to 19.5 billion dollars by 2.4 billion dollars from last year's 17.1 billion dollars.
